BUTTERFLY TANGO

Over 2 nights I wrote this new piece - It really is more of an improvisation. I gave myself permission to not worry about form and structure, harmonic language or even harmonic structure. I had no musical ideas when I started and made myself not go to the piano at all - to write it in my head- what I heard in my head.  So in essence, this is an improvisation. Now, of course there IS some structure, harmonic languages in the piece - but it wasn't planned out. I think it is a rather fun, energetic piece.
